Webinars
AlphaSiGHT ACADEMY provides a number of webinars which count towards continuous professional development to support Ophthalmologists, Trainee Ophthalmologists, Optometrists and other allied Eye Care staff.
Simulated Training
AlphaSiGHT ACADEMY uses a Slit Lamp simulator which perfectly replicates the movements of a real slit lamp, including rotation and three-axis positioning of the illumination and observation systems. As well as allowing a wide array of control settings, such as slit width and length, inclination and rotation of the slit beam and the introduction of filters.
The virtual system is equipped with a patient model head and a 90D ophthalmoscopy lens mimic which can be moved slowly towards the eye of the patient model head until a focused image of the retina through the slit lamp microscope is seen. If necessary, the patient’s eyes can be dilated to make the examination easier.
